Do you support Cardi B’s plan to become a Nigerian citizen? Do you have any Nigerian name from your ethnic group for her? Would you support her to run for political office after been officially sworn as a citizen? Why or why not?

Cardi B is a rapper, television personality, songwriter and actress who has won various awards. Also, she has been rated in the famous Forbes and Time magazines as an important individual in the entertainment industry. Her real nomenclature: Belcalis Marlenis Almazar, born 27yeras ago in Manhattan, grew up in Bronx, New York, United of America. Recently, she visited Nigeria to showcase her God given talent; the people fell in love with her and she fell in love with the people and the country.

Now, she is planning to become a Nigerian citizen; I support and adore her pronouncement. In addition, she is asking for a name from the many Nigerian ethnic groups that will befit her. Historically and politically, Nigeria is made up of four regions. These regions gradually metamorphosized into the current thirty six states. Approximately, there are 250 ethnic groups in Nigeria (USEmbassy.com), Urhobo people from the Niger Delta located in Delta State is one of them. As a token of love, I am recommending two names that will befit a beautiful lady like you from the Urhobo ethnic group: Elohor (meaning blessing) and Ufuoma (meaning peace); pick one out of the two or keep both of them and remain blessed.

Furthermore, the narrative stated you are interested in Nigerian politics; it is rough but do-able.  Majority of the old and current politicians are not trustworthy; they speak from both sides of their mouths at the same time. Empirically, very high percentage of them are political harlots, they move from one party to another at will, with one goal in mind; loot the treasury. But, very few percentage of them do have good hearts, want to help the poor , rebuild the infrastructures including providing 24/7 electricity, clean public water and so forth. Guess what? they are overwhelmed and eclipsed by the humongous corrupt contemporaries. In every humankind phenomenon, there is always time for a shift in the paradigm. Seriously, if you want to participate in Nigerian politics; involve the young population. Crucially, let them know that the future of Nigeria is in their hands and the pathways to greater tomorrow and better quality of life is to reject corruption, separate religion and ethncism from politics and love Nigeria more than their political affiliation. I rest my fingers. Welcome to http://www.provocativedebate.com.

Cardi B is an American songstress, actress and television personality; She has won so many accolades from her chosen field of life. Her role in the entertainment industry has made her special in the heart of many globally. Last year, she visited Nigeria to entertain fun lovers which was quite an amazing experience for her and her fans. The turn out was massive and during her short stay, Nigerians showered her love  and she loves the people as well.

Fortunately, this experience became a turning point in her life, as she said she will love to become a Nigerian citizen. Nigeria is a country with presently six geopolitical zones, with over 250 ethnic groups which is also rich in human and natural resources as well as beautiful culture too. Honestly, i support Cardi B’s plan to become Nigerian citizen. As a free born of Urhobo ethnic group in Delta State Nigeria. I’ll recommend a name as a show of love befitting for the status of Cardi B. “Okeroghene”  meaning (gift of God) or Erhuwun meaning (beauty) Cardi Babe, the choice is yours.

However, if she eventually becomes a citizen of Nigeria, she will have the right to contest for any political position. Obviously, the present crop of politicians in Nigeria are not the kind of people to play politics with because they do not have the interest of the masses at heart. They indulge in  various forms of election malpractices and even killing of their opponents just to gain political power. Therefore, my advice for Cardi B is that, she should align with positive minds amongst the youths to achieve her dream of making Nigeria a better place for all. May God bless, promote and protect her at all times….
