All of the above industries are losers on equal basis . The world is interested in profits and growth in all dimensions and directions. So every activity is intertwined with each other and  because greed, deceit and intrigues reign in all the industries, loss is common to them too . It is the balancing of the general loss by COVID19, that will create the new world order.

The whole is in a crucible because our usual normal failed. Now,  we need a new  and better normal. If the previous normal was really good, there wouldn’t have been any outbreak of the coronavirus in Wuhan, China. Practically, the whole world structure and ways of conducting things is in a state of disequilibrium.</
Obviously,  on the receiving end are the following partial list:

      • Sports industry
      • Traveling industry
      • Food and beverage industries
      • Human social services (prostitution) industry
      • Manufacturing industry
      • Automobile industry
      • Fishing industry
      • Oil and gas industries
      • Fashion industry
      • Entertainment industry
      • And others

There is no concrete meter to measure the impact on each industry.  But, our statisticians and economists will have to work together to come out with good figures. On face value and eye gauge,  the sports, the traveling,  the entertainment and the healthcare industries are my pick. The healthcare industry is included in this pick because of its burnout with this evil Covid-19. I dough my heart for all the health care workers,  especially those in the frontline.

Furthermore,  one cannot ignore the human social services and the food and beverage industries. They oil the wheels of happiness and joy in any society.  In addition,  the prostitution industry, though illegal in many countries, reduces the rate of rape incidences. Conclusively,  from provocativedebate.com structured interview of people revealed that they are tired of the pre-covid-19 normal. Now, the new way forward is a new normal fused with preparedness to deal unforeseen circumstances. I rest my case! Welcome to https://www.provocativedebate.com.

All the entities mention are all affected. But the sports industry is most affected in my opinion. But in Africa and especially in Nigeria apart from a handfuĺl of deaths of high profile politicians, the political industry has gone hey wire in their looting spree.

WHO and China the epicentre of the world most dreaded virus at the moment failed to curtail the spread of this monster virus. The failed or should I call it deliberate effort of Chinese authorities to spread the virus, has given leverage to this virulent virus to crawl across the globe to snatch lives out of innocent people. What a reckless conduct. Sports,  automobile, prostitution, food and beverages, entertainment and traveling industries have all been hit by Coronavirus pandemic.

Apparently, in every disaster or a war situation, there are bound to be winners and losers. Although it’s difficult to quantify the lost created by this pandemic so far but we can zero down our views on those that are mostly affected. It’s no longer news that many governments, industries and billionaires are huge losers but amongst the top losers are the sports, entertainment and the traveling industries (airlines).

And there are few service industries that are still making lots of money despite the lockdown. Evidently, this pandemic has made Begos some CEO’s of service industries more richer than before. Now the review and recovery process is the yearning of every affected individual and authorities. The need for the world to change its previous ways of doing things is crucial. How the world will manage the post pandemic remain a puzzle to us all considering the crop of selfish and dictatorial leaders paraded across the globe.
