A response from a husband and a father with sincere love for his family, I will ask and beg of my wife to save my son. It is morally and culturally prudent to save your son at this critical time and the lord and the spirit of your ancestors will be pleased with you. Some people may say why not let the son die especially when he is just a child, no I have seen more “Christmases” than the young man and I do like to give him a chance. Is this a difficulty decision time for your wife? Would your son be angry with the mom why she could not save his dad? Ask him to read the question and tell him know that is the right thing to do. Would your mom be mad at your wife? This is why it is pertinent to educate your family ahead of time to avoid confusion and to prepare her mind to make a quick decision.

Would you save your daughter over your wife if they are inserted into the above question? If the husband and wife are going through divorce, would that quicken the decision? Would a Christian or Muslim react to this situation differently? Would Africans, Asians, Europeans, Americans, Russians and Arabs handle this situation differently? Your opinions? I would save my child and any husband worth having would want me to. Not only do humans normally have an instinct to save children first – even the children of strangers – I cannot imagine any parent who would choose to save a spouse first while risking the life of their child. And I am childless by choice – but were I married with children if my husband chose to save me over our child I think that would be the end of our marriage. Not only is it about the parent/child bond it’s also about the total responsibility parents have for the welfare of their children.

Lindsey, your response above confirmed the truth that it is in the DNA of parents to risk their souls for their children. If someone like you without a biological child reason this way, then those parents who collude to buy life insurance on their child and then kill him or her need prayers. I rest my pen.

I have personally spoken to over 200 women whether they would save their husbands or their sons in a dangerous situation and they all confirmed they would save their sons over the husbands. What is the reason behind this decision? Would you husbands save your daughters over your wife at a dangerous situation?
