Since I was a little lad, I have experienced weird and ugliness up till today. Sincerely, I have been prayerful about it; hoping it will end soon. But, man has continue to evolve more weirdness and ugliness in every facet of life and in every society. Factually, I was schooled that “God created man in His own image,” but, as I grow older man behaves otherwise. He is a rapist, a thief, a fraudster, a racist, created slavery and colonization, kill innocent fellow being, distorted the whole world via phenomenon of dominance and control. He synthesized social stratification and class layers. Would any creature made of God’s image act so filthy and nebulous?

Seriously, take a look at man’s display of ignorance, evil and unclean characteristics 24/7. Then, you do not need a rocket scientist to educate you that the claim, ” God made man in His own image ” is totally false. For instance, take a close look at the current leaders of the world today, it is saturated with murky Homo Sapiens bipedalist. Did God in His perfection create this man? Or was this a misinformation and codification in the Holy book? In a nut shell, man was not created in God’s image; some old culture and religion connived this claim to kick start societal euphoria. Precisely, a cross sectional examination of man in all the seven manufactured continents by world leaders will reveal that man was not made in God’s image and therefore not equal. I stand to challenge anyone who is possession of evidence to prove me wrong. The debate is open. Welcome to

“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)

Humankind, then, was created to be a “copy” or a “graphic image” of the Creator – a formal, visible, and understandable representation of who God is and what He is really like.We are the ones who have created societies in which individuals are judged based on their physical appearance or on their membership in particular demographic groups, rather than on the content of their character or according to their unique gifts and skills. We—not God—are the ones who have decided that some are “in” and some are “out,” which is in direct contrast to the message we hear over and over again.

So although we may not behaviors that are not Christlike or Godlike, or even evil thoughts, it doesn’t change the fact that we are made in God’s image, however, the presence of sin may have marred or disfigured it. That’s where redemption comes in.

God created Man in his own image and likeness. Out of the love he have for mankind, he gave man freedom to take  dominion over every creation. God is an epitome of love, which is suppose to reflect on the life of any human being. As creature of God, human conduct is suppose to be guided by love. On the contrary, Due to avarice and wickedness, human being recreated himself to be kidnapper, thief, fraudster, murderer, racist and all sort of evil is domicile in human’s mind.

The weird and callous way of mankind, is a creation of man himself. Which is an absolute difference of what God represents and his purpose for mankind. Humanity is marred with endless evil, injustice, social stratification and phenomenon of dominance. But this does not take away the fact that God created man in his own image and likeness. The bitter truth is, man has betrayed God and failed his generation. Certainly, he will reap what he sow someday….
