As bad as PDP government in Nigeria for the past 16years, the President Goodluck Jonathan single action of calling the opposition leader and the winner of march 28, 2015 presidential election and congratulating him before the results were announced is not only historic but worth examining and possibly nobel priced. Nigerians do not handle over government to opponents…..not even General Buhari……most of them were removed from office by coup d’etat, best case senerio handle government to their party members. He had everything at his disposal….all the security apparatus and you name it…..but he choosed the right pathway. What is the secret behind his action? Could it be his educational background or he is just a good person? I know very well that his predecessor General Obasanjo will not descend so low to call and congratulates his opponent winning such an election over him…..lol! Is this the genesis of true democracy in the continent of Africa? At least, this will serve as a reference and turning point in world history with special reference to Africa(Nigeria as benchmark).
Are Nigerians not proud of themselves for the very first time over a very long period of time? The seed of democracy has been planted by President Jonathan and must be watered and manured through the continent of Africa. Everybody, please get up and join this debate…….if you speak out you will die one day and you don’t speak out you also die one day. The choice is open…….freedom now and freedom forever. Congratulations to all Nigerians both home and diaspora…….it is well. Your thoughts? Welcome to http://www.provocativedebate.com.
