Internet and social media are revolutionizing modern way of doing businesses and communicating globally but both carry a bad side , addiction. Internet and social media are both addictive and should be assigned clinical diagnosis and of course be marched with intervention. The addiction comes in various forms, ranging from professional to social in classification. Should the consumers be alert of the possibility of addiction of internet and social media? How many hours per day per week should a person use the internet and social media to be diagnosed with clinical addiction? Who should develop the intervention? Are women more vulnerable than men? Are children more vulnerable than adults?

Either way, would it be counter productive to families, companies and the society at large? What will be the ICD 10(Disease Classification code) for internet and social media addiction? Your opinion?
