The ABC criteria for voting for NBA regular season MVP revealed that you must be good in scoring, assisting, stealing and rebounding. Part of it is that you must have a team with winning record and you must be player with the ability to take over the game. In all these criteria STEPH CURRY is good in all these departments. ….setting a new NBA winning record 2015/2016.
But a close review revealed that RUSSELL WESTBROOK had a total of 18 triple doubles statistically tying him with great Magic Johnson of Lakers. Do I have any problem with Mr Curry winning the MVP? My answer is emphatic no! What I have problem with is the unanimous voting with no single vote for Mr Westbrook who had “18 triple doubles “. He lead Mr curry in assists, rebounds and possibly in steals. NBA please do not disrespect a great player of Mr Westbrook classification.
